Fortunately, I don’t own a television and it’s been such wonderful weather here I have not spent much time on the computer and when I do I don’t go to msnbc or cnn or abc or any of the rest of the MSM, so I guess you will not be surprised to hear that I am not in a panic about swine flu.
Flu? Are you kidding me? After weeks of rain and gloom, we are now having sunny, beautiful, warm 80 degree weather and I am truly enjoying it. I’ve been out hiking every day in the woods; sitting by waterfalls; admiring the wild flowers….and oh, the dogwood is in full bloom. It is definitely heavenly where I live.
Hey, folks, it’s only the flu. People get the flu every year and some of them die from it. Of course, that is sad, but we all have to die sometime, don’t we? If not the flu, then cancer, or heart disease, or a car accident.
What’s the panic all about? Or is there a panic? Or, better question, what is our attention being diverted from? Or, maybe, what is it that the Manipulator in Chief wants us to support? Or, who is going to benefit from making extra flu vaccine?
Anyone who is falling for this ridiculous all out attempt to create a crisis when there isn’t one is a fool. I know one thing; you won’t catch me getting some swine flu shot made up real fast in some Chicago-style drug factory. No thank you; I’ll take my vitamins and go for a walk in the woods; sit by a waterfall; read some poetry; and express gratitude for living on such a beautiful planet.
Folks, it’s only the flu and this white bird must fly!
I had forgotten the poignant melancholy of that song, it really stabs the heart.
