It’s important to continue our prayers for Haiti.
The majority of the Haitian people are Roman Catholic, so this week I am posting a video that aligns with their beliefs.
I notice that there are several comments on YouTube regarding this video expressing critical opinions on the power of prayer. The opinions express the belief that prayer is not an action; that people who pray are not really helping, that it is a “cheap” way out of helping.
I believe in the power of prayer. I worked for a prayer ministry for a couple of years and I can testify to the practical results of affirmative prayer.
We all have our own way of connecting with Spirit. Let’s honor all beliefs and focus on blessings and healing for the people of Haiti regardless of whether those beliefs are in accord with ours.
There is only one Spirit, one God.
