This meditation is based on the 51st psalm: Have mercy on me, God, according to thy loving kindness.
The artist who created this beautiful version of Allegri's Miserere is Paul Schwartz. Paul quotes the Allegri Miserere at the beginning, but then takes off on his own sensual Latin setting of the psalm.
This particular composition appears on Paul’s first State of Grace album; he has followed up with State of Grace II and III. I have all three of these beautiful, sacred, mystical cd’s and listen to them frequently.
Right now we are in the midst of our second major snow storm (which is two snow storms more than “normal”), so what a good night to relax, chill-out, and enjoy.
