Frankly, I cannot believe I am being forced to ask this question. Here is a man who has been a state legislator for a few years and just got elected to the Senate and has not served a single day yet and already he is being talked about as a 2012 presidential candidate and, to make matters even worse, he would consider doing it!
What is he; the white reincarnation of our current miserable mistake?
And why is no one looking down their nose at Brown and asking him if he thinks that’s a bit egotistical of him to think he is qualified for that position, like Charlie Gibson did to Sarah Palin?
Then there's the nude photo of Brown that I guess is almost a good thing because heck he's a good looking man and posing nude as a 22 year old is perfectly normal and not in any way a reflection on anything, especially his intelligence. Unlike Sarah Palin is a good looking woman who won a beauty contest which means she must be a bimbo even though the prize was a college scholarship.
But what really infuriates me is that in a recent interview with Baba Wawa he was asked if HE thought Sarah Palin was qualified for POTUS. Like, what are HIS qualifications to decide or even have an opinion that counts on this? I hope someone asks Sarah Palin if she thinks Scott Brown is qualified for POTUS. That might make some sense; after all, she was the GOP VP candidate last time around and a former governor and the only one in the last campaign with executive experience.
All I see here is the old double standard raising its ugly head again; I take that back because the ugly head is always raised and frequently in the form of a female journalist. When are women ever going to learn?
You make excellent points! I agree with you completely. Thanks for asking questions that all intelligent people ought to be asking.
