Back in the ‘60’s, when I was a radical/hippie college student at a Midwestern university , I had the absolute joy and pleasure to encounter an Hasidic Jewish Rabbi/singer named Shlomo Carlebach.
The dean of the Liberal Arts College was Jewish and he knew Rabbi Carlebach. So one day, this remarkable, joyful man came to our campus. He just sat down and started playing his guitar and singing and before you knew it every flower child within ear reach was sitting at his feet.
I’ve never forgotten Rabbi Carlebach and the wonderful love that emanated from his being, so I was so happy to find this wonderful video.
I hope you feel the bliss on this snowy (once again) weekend. Peace and may the Lord get you high.
