As Hillary Clinton sets the stage to bow out and
endorse Barack Obama for president this weekend, Republicans are
targeting the spoils of the bitter Democratic primary campaign.
Presumptive GOP nominee John McCain and his supporters
are encouraging Clinton loyalists to abandon their party this November
in a bid to exploit their frustration and convince them McCain is their
next best choice.
This comes as some Clinton backers, seeing the curtain
closing on their candidate, are organizing to draw other Clinton
backers to McCain’s side. Read More At Fox

Thursday, June 5th, 2008 When Will Obama Concede? Part IIUpdate III: Gallup poll from yesterday shows Obama losing to McCain. Obama will concede now or in NOvember. Guess who wins against McCain? Clinton leads McCain 48% to 45%. This includes an even more sizeable lead for Clinton over McCain in Tuesday night’s interviewing.

Update II: Commentary excerpts from Rasmussen Reports:
The woman who shouted “McCain in ‘08″ at the Democratic rules committee was speaking for a multitude. After mounting for months, female anger over the choreographed dumping on Hillary Clinton and her supporters has exploded — and party loyalty be damned. [snip]
“Obama will NOT get my vote, and one step more,” Ellen Thorp, a 59-year-old flight attendant from Houston told me. “I have been a Democrat for 38 years. As of today, I am registering as an independent. Yee Haw!”
Remember your Mother cautioning you to watch who you kept company with? Wasn't it aggravating at times to see the adages of our parents, revealing truth at every turn in life? Then rest assured, that Obama was not given any special exemption in this life. The expectations you and I have for each other should at least be nominally held in our choice for President. So how can we logically conclude that Bill Ayers, Rev. Wright, "Father" Phleger, and now convicted friend Tony Rezko, don't all share the same ugly standards? Remember, these are basic life lessons we are talking about. I can hear a stream from the past, those old remembered voices warning us...TR
Democratic Party elders who hoped the emergence of a presidential nominee would end the bitter divisions of the primary race got a startling reality check Wednesday.
One day after Barack Obama clinched the nomination, supporters loyal to Hillary Clinton kept up the fight and in some cases antagonized Obama and his campaign.
Even as more than a dozen superdelegates drifted to the Illinois senator Wednesday, Clinton backers flooded the office of one Obama supporter on Capitol Hill with threatening calls and some urged other Clinton-ites to shift their support to presumptive GOP nominee John McCain.
Meanwhile, bloggers on Obama’s Web page and major liberal Web sites threw charges and slurs at Clinton for refusing to concede the race Tuesday night in New York City.
“Hillary Showed No Class!” read one headline on Obama’s community blogs page. Read More
The word of course is that Hillary will be suspending her campaign on Saturday. Yet, she is still there for us and we have her back as promised. We refuse to be strong-armed by our own party, and encourage our group to vote in protest against Obama. We do not consider Obama to be a safe choice to lead the Free World.
Ann Coulter: Quote ...But now Hillary has won the popular vote in a Democratic primary, while Obambi has won under the rules. In a spectacular turnabout, media commentators are heaping sarcasm on our plucky Hillary for imagining the "popular vote" has any relevance whatsoever. end quote
Let’s contact these super delegates today (see attached) on Hillary’s behalf and let’s point out the facts:
Hillary Clinton won the popular vote. More people voted for her than any candidate in American history.
She won states that represent 308 electoral votes. Obama’s wins yield only 224. It takes 270 to become president.
She won all of the big states and swing states Democrats must win in November.
She
polls ahead of Obama against McCain in Pennsylvania , Ohio , Florida ,
and Michigan , states critical to a Democratic victory this fall.
Let’s
remind them that they are about to make the most important decision of
their lives and the future of America ’s children is at stake. This
moment must transcend politics.
Also, please contact these super delegates below:
Call Irene Stein (607) 266-7579 and Chris Whittington (225) 346-8777 who endorsed Hillary yesterday and thank them.
Note how "No Quarter" has crashed many times lately, I have noted this three times when trying to access the site! I am assuming it is Obama thugs. Larry Johnson's site has provided the video from Fox news where Obama supporter, Bob Beckel, reported earlier that he had good sources warning of a "big bomb" ready to drop concerning Michelle Obama.
Larry Johnson, of "No Quarter", has stood by this "rumor" for quite sometime. Let's hope it is something strong enough to stick. TR
This primary is not a symbol of the progress America is making in terms of gender or race; it's not a personal battle between Clinton and Obama; it's not a popularity contest. The stakes are too high for that.
It's about deciding who can save America and the rest of the world from having another Republican President.
It's about stopping neoconservatism in its tracks. It's about calming rather than exacerbating the geo-political threats that confront us all, from the streets of New York or London, to the mountains of Afghanistan. It's quite literally about the future of this planet..........Read More

… I’d rather say a joyful Hello to all the glorious young women who do identify with Hillary, and all the brave, smart men—of all ethnicities and any age—who get that it’s in their self-interest, too. She’s better qualified. … She’s a high-profile candidate with an enormous grasp of foreign- and domestic-policy nuance, dedication to detail, ability to absorb staggering insult and personal pain while retaining dignity, resolve, even humor, and keep on keeping on. …
I’d rather look forward to what a good president he might make in eight years, when his vision and spirit are seasoned by practical know-how—and he’ll be all of 54. Meanwhile, goodbye to turning him into a shining knight when actually he’s an astute, smooth politician …. If it’s only about ringing rhetoric, let speechwriters run. But isn’t it about getting the policies we want enacted? …
Me? I support Hillary Rodham because she’s the best qualified of all candidates running in both parties. I support her because her progressive politics are as strong as her proven ability to withstand what will be a massive right-wing assault in the general election. I support her because she knows how to get us out of Iraq . I support her because she’s refreshingly thoughtful, and I’m bloodied from eight years of … jolly (republican) … politics. … I support her because she’s already smashed the first-lady stereotype and made history as a fine senator, because I believe she will continue to make history not only as the first US woman president, but as a great US president.
As for the “woman thing”?
Me, I’m voting for Hillary not because she’s a woman—but because I am.
How inspiring it is to know we have a lioness of a candidate that battles for our tomorrow.
As the pundits and reporters grasped for takes on any comment that came from the Clintons or campaign staff that might signal her surrender, Hillary campaigned on into South Dakota.
If you are a Hillary supporter, you are not surprised at this. ABC made much ado of Hillary having to have help from Chelsea as she climbed the stage to speak in Rapid City. Hillary was hoarse and had momentarily had a coughing spell. The media focus was on Hillary, and they were there to pick up on any sign of weakness from the lioness. Remember, no one has won the nomination. Hillary has every right to appeal to the Super Delegates. My point today? Go Hillary. Go do what is right for this country. After all, it is about America...not Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid.

Weapons of the Obama campaign
I’ve been trying to put my thoughts into perspective on the prejudice and hatred that the Obama Campaign has enflamed. From Barack’s advisors, male supporters, the DNC and the pundits, to the women who just don’t get it, I’m becoming more aware of the injustice of the ploys being used to promote this man. Obviously, some of those cited are serving as his surrogates. Supporters only take the bait. Sexism is more acceptable than racism and Obama has been banking on it.
The pundits are largely anti Hillary and un/consciously misogynistic. It’s OK in their world to ridicule a woman for her figure, dress, age or personal habits. Hillary is still a sex object with a timer running out on her perceived value. If Hillary Clinton were black, these men and women would have all received the Imus treatment, because while sexism is permissible, being both racist and sexist is not. Meanwhile, the black candidate, Obama, faces little critical analysis as it’s too dangerous. The news media has learned their lesson, and Barack relies on it.

Religious figures, long term advisors and friends, Rev. Wright and Fr. Pfleger, revel in employing race baiting tirades that accuse Hillary of oppressing the black community thereby pointing a finger at all white women. The irony here is women have never been empowered and have been struggling for just treatment many times right alongside the Black Civil Rights Movement. In addition, many leaders in the black community who enjoyed Hillary’s support have now abandoned her under pressure to save their political futures. Obama also has a relationship with the Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakahn, who is a member of his sorry circle of South Side radical “religious” friends. Defamation of character and bearing false witness are not sins in these churches. Using the pulpit and their positions to ridicule women and preach politics are not considered abuse of purpose. This is just short of a home run here, since Barack is only missing a disturbed radical Rabbi acting out against Hillary and white women to make the ecumenical lineup complete.
He only now resigns from Trinity Church under media pressure in an attempt to distance himself from 20 years of association with the radical three religious leaders.
Male supporters of Obama freely use terms like, “bitch”, “cunt”, ‘lesbian”, “whore”, “witch”, when referring to Hillary. Phrases such as “fuck her”, “suck my dick”; “iron my shirt” are used by males of all ages without any sense of shame or impropriety. They display obscene gestures with an air of absolute entitlement and justified aggression. Younger supporters make “age remarks”, suggesting anyone over 60 should just die so as to not become a future burden to them. This is their sense of Obama’s “Hope” and “Change”. Yet they insist that these same demographic groups they insult fall in line to support their candidate.
Women who just don’t “get it” are those who voice the same sentiments as the male Obama supporters. They are naive or ignorant, and they blame Hillary for staying in her marriage and for her husband’s infidelity. Some simply say that they HATE her. You can include Michelle Obama here, since she does “get it “and “uses it”. Then there are those who believe that THE BIBLE tells them that a woman just should not be a leader, because some man with an agenda explained it that way.
Michelle Obama, his wife, is the wealthy, mansion dwelling, corporate climber attorney with a radical racial agenda who plays up the fifties stereotype of the housewife for mostly white crowds, but channels Rev. Wright for mostly black audiences. She acts the unfortunate victim while listing all of her entitlements. She’s been a victim of affirmative action.
Barack Obama’s sexist actions and statements are no laughing matter either. References to his mother, whom he trivializes in a Time magazine article, are only an expediency to be used in proclaiming that he was a poor child raised by a “single mother”. Remarks and actions during debates and along the campaign trail have been denigrating to women yet mostly ignored by the media and the Democratic Party. Claims of racism are used to deflect valid criticisms when no other response is available or valid. He’s also leveraging on sexual entitlement to make it all work for him.
His stump speeches are also tailored to his audience. “Bitter people clinging to their guns and religion” was not supposed to leave a closed room in San Francisco filled of elite donors he was pressing for contributions.
Additionally, he’s an inexperienced political climber who has accomplished next to nothing in office. Instead he took credit for the work of others in the Illinois Senate to get where he is today. He has succeeded only in taking care of the interests of his contributor Rezko, himself (mansion) and also Exelon Corp to further the interests of his campaign chief, Axelrod. His constituents have only mattered to him as a means to winning his next political position.

Sen. Barack Obama approached first overflow in the parking lot outside of the Scranton town hall, and immediately went to Denise Mercuri, a pharmacist from Dunmore who was wearing a Hillary Clinton button. She held an Obama button in her hand, and he asked what he needed to do to get her to wear his instead of his rival's. "What do I need to do? Do you want me on my knees?" he asked.
He then conceded, keeping with his flirty trend of the day (see earlier report), "I'll give you a kiss."
The DNC or better yet the internal powerbrokers referenced as “the old boys’ club”. The fellows here are afraid that Hillary Clinton will handle issues long waiting to be addressed: universal health care and women’s rights. Men who enjoyed Hillary’s support during politically tough times have turned on her: Teddy Kennedy, the spineless swimmer of Chappaquiddick, is one. This party has never asked a man to stop campaigning. Worse , it is a case of them turning her down for the inexperienced, preppy male some king makers in Illinois have groomed to take first place. Obama has won campaigns on legal technicalities before. The DNC will expect her and all of her supporters to fall in line and do everything to protect and support this man.
Geraldine Ferraro has upset the status quo within the DNC by stating the obvious. As a former Vice Presidential candidate, she should enjoy some level of credibility in the DNC.
It would be a mistake to make Barack Obama the nominee of the Democratic Party, because he will not win a General Election. Too many Hillary supporters simply will not vote for him. He is too radical to experience a wave of Republican Party cross over voters.
Hillary herself could not convince me to vote for Obama. If the DNC were manipulative enough to insist that Hillary Clinton take the Vice Presidential spot, I would not vote for this “dream” ticket.
The only change that the Obama campaign should be able to bring about is to cause the nation as a whole to examine the way it regards 51% of the population, the country’s females.
Congratulations to Barack Obama for receiving delegates in Michigan
where he wasn't even on the ballot.
The wrong is right campaign continues... without us.
