On his bus, after being met by Clinton protesters in Charlotte, Howard Dean told reporters,
“I’m not sure all of them are Clinton supporters,” he said. “I think some of them are having fun at the Democrats’ expense. I think shouting through somebody’s speech is low-class.”
That’s a very weird comment even for Dr. Dean! He refuses to answer our letters, our calls, our e-mails, our petitions and now our public protests are ‘low class.’
Well pray tell Dr. Dean, do tell us what is the appropriate avenue we must take in order to get you to listen? How else might we express our First Amendment right and petition you to hear us?
You have mounted a bus at our expense and are traveling our roads and stopping in our towns and are eating our food at our expense and talking at will to our people and yet you do not allow us to talk back. You expect to come to us and tell us what you want us to hear but are not open to hear us and all this on our dime. You have the unmitigated gall to repot that we are low class? You Dr. Dean have no class at all. Move away from our table, get off our damned bus and go home!
