Muslims Treat Women Fairly? Impossible

As Obama slowly reveals his policies on meeting with Iran, we can remember basic human rights are essential and many feel this should be part of pre-conditions.  

Just this week, Fox News and CNN reported the stoning of three men accused of adultery. It seems one man survived the stoning and was able to crawl out of the pit.

AP reported: under Islamic rulings, a man is buried up to his waist, while a woman is buried up to her neck. Those carrying out the verdict then throw stones until the person dies. If the person manages to escape from the hole, he or she will remain free under Islamic law.

"Given that the third person managed to pull himself out of the hole, the verdict was not carried out," Jamshidi told reporters.

Fox News also reported how under Islamic law that men are buried in stone up to their waist, while women are buried up to their necks!  Where does this Muslim sexual anxiety come from anyway? It does get meaner especially in Iran when the cleric gets involved in governmental affairs. Is it any wonder that the Christian world is threatened with crucification on sight?
