When Obama has his press conference in the Rose Garden on Tuesday, situations abroad with Korea and Iran have some tough questions coming, if the press does its job, and questions him on the worsening situation in Iran.
Obama is so determined to negotiate with Armadinejad, one wonders if Obama will give sharp criticism to the brutality the Iranian government is using towards its citizens.
Since we do so little trading with Iran, it would seem that Europe is in a better position to exert pressure on Iran. Obama could at least support a great act of democracy and the effort of a people towards freedom by abandoning his timid approach with these rogues. In fact, it is very reminiscent of Jimmy Carter.
Defiance was also noted in Obama's tone as he spoke today to the naysayers concerning his health program. Obama referred to critics of his health-care plan as "Chicken Little".
Yet hearing how unemployment numbers hit over 14% in California, the disturbing Twitter reports from Iran, and knowing that a rogue nation threatens to launch a test missile towards Hawaii as Obama pounds away at his health-care goals, could account for some worried Americans. Will the media ever ask a meaningful, pointed question of Obama?
The problem is we have too many gutless "journalists" that only serve as echoes of Obama's political agenda. Is it even possible America could get objective news?
