It is now claimed by the Far Left that Joe Wilson is a racist. That was once it was determined he represented South Carolina. CNN is reporting this as well as the New York Time's, Maureen Dowd who is quick to always write disrespectfully of any Southerner...regardless.
CNN reported: "If he's the face of the GOP, we'll have public option by Columbus Day!" wrote Andisheh Nouraee, a columnist for Creative Loafing, an alternative weekly in Atlanta, Georgia.
Maureen Dowd wrote: "Some people just can't believe a black man is president and will never accept it." Even if Obama and his advisers "don’t choose to openly acknowledge it, this president is the ultimate civil rights figure—a black man whose legitimacy is constantly challenged by a loco fringe...".
Maureen Dowd needs to realize that the Democratically packed House and supporters of Obama-care can not accept the fact they are seeing push-back from the majority...yes the majority of Americans. The majority of Americans are racist?
Does a week go by that some Democratic Congress-person refers to all the "racists" trying to bring down this President because of the color of his skin. The opposition to reckless spending hears it regularly now...if you are from the South and oppose out-of-control spending, you are immediately branded as a David Duke supporter.
Supporters of Obama-care lack knowledge of the various versions of health-care now being worked out in committees. If the arguments for Obama-care were merited with any clarity and reasonable cost-control,the Far Left would not have to resort to calling anyone "racist" when making sound arguments for their type of reform.
The problem is: They can't. Those who oppose or present any disagreement with Obama and his legislation are presented as "racist". How can any agreement be reached with this type of far left mentality? Add media types such as Maureen Dowd and her constant slew of insults and anger is fueled only to leave many, many Americans anxious for 2010 elections.
